“Alitza García is a colombian fashion designer, graduated from Autónoma del Caribe university. After growing professionally and finishing up her bachelor studies, she moved to Mexico. She decided to come back to her homeland to finally establish her signature line in Barranquilla. That fusion of places, artistic influences and various ways of seeing the world, have led her to create pieces based on a different and avant-garde aesthetic. Her ready-to-wear collections are largely inspired by cultures, stories and anecdotes. Her greatest obsessions are hand-worked details, elegance, good relationships with others and freedom.”
